Dylan Senior Session:: Columbus, Ohio Photographer

So , I have been having this problem lately, I cannot decide on just one or two images to share on facebook, because I have too many favorites. This senior session was one of the sessions I couldn't just pick a few, so I am deciding to share a BUNCH!!!

If you are wondering why it looks like it is fall in the photos....well, it is;-) The parents and I JUST FINALLY got together after scheduling conflicts, and a husband in the military. They LOVED them!!!

Spring is coming, make sure to schedule your high school senior now!!

Belly to Baby, The M Family:: Columbus, ohio newborn Photographer

The M family was recently referred to me by another amazing IEP family. They loved their pictures so much of their son, that they tell EVERYONE they know about us....BLUSH!!

I knew from the very start that the M family was going to be so much fun to work with, but I never expected us to click so well. I feel like I have known them forever, not just a couple short months. We have a lot in common, and talking with them is like talking with long time friends. They initially came to me for their maternity session. i was in a bit of a funk after my daughter had been in the hospital for 5 days, and my husband and i suffered a miscarriage the same week. As soon as the Ms walked in the door, however, my spirits were immediately lifted, and my creative juices started flowing!! I was SOOO inspired:-)

Here are a few from their maternity and newborn sessions!

If At First you Don't Succeed, Try Try Again:: Columbus, Ohio Newborn Photographer

One of my biggest group of supporters and clients are the girls from the OSU NICU. I have photographed a TON of the babies born to the nurses in the unit. I was thrilled when Lauren contacted me to keep the tradition going. However, from day one, I was praying that the other tradition with the NICU nurse kids was not upheld....they all like to stay awake for me:-)

There had been a trend of boys, and a trend of boys that didn't want to sleep during their sessions....which essentially led to LONG sessions. I didn't mind, because I get to snuggle longer, and chit chat with their parents, and I always won in the end:-)

When Lauren had a girl, I was SURE the trend was going to be broken. I was convinced that we were going to knock through the whole session in 2 hrs or less.....well, I shouldn't have been so sure of myself.

Baby Tressa wanted to hang out and be awake for the WHOLE session. 5.5 hrs later, be decided it would be best if they came in a second try a few days later. Tressa was done, I was exhausted...and I think mom and dad were too.

In this case second time was a charm! We got BEAUTIFUL images during the awake session, and then the soft, sleepy baby poses the second session! I was sooo happy that mom and dad were going to have a full, diverse gallery! I couldn't just pick one or two to share on FB, so here are my top favorites!!

I feel like she was mocking me!! lol
