Baby Carly:: Columbus, Ohio Newborn Photographer

When miss Carly made it safe and healthy into the world, I cried!! I cannot even describe to you how much I have come to love this family. We, unfortunately, have the bond of baby loss, and I was honored to photograph the day their beautiful son, Sam, was born and passed from this world. It was a life changing, profound experience for me.

You can imagine how excited I was when I found out they were expecting again!! Baby Carly was born happy and healthy, and VERY much loved and adored by all her family members!!!

Anna is a VERY special lady to my family. She has baby sat Ava since she was about 3 months old, and has been such a blessing in every way. It was an HONOR to capture her High School Senior photos.

I may have a new requirement for all girls in front of my camera: MUST BE A DANCER:-) They pose sooo naturally in front of the camera!!!

Rainbow #2!!:: Columbus Ohio Children's Photographer

It is amazing the different ways you acquire clients and friends. I met Don when he was installing our new furnace. I noticed a tattoo of a hand print on his shoulder, and had to ask about it. It was shortly after we lost our first daughter, Rosalynn, and anytime I saw a footprint or hand print, I thought MAYBE the family suffered the same sort of loss. In this case I was right...unfortunately. Well, his wife was pregnant with their rainbow baby, and at her 6 month mark, he contacted me to capture their memories. I photographed Autumn, their first Rainbow at her 6 month and 1 yr milestones.

About 7 Months ago, Don and Dawn (yes...both "d-ON") Lol.....had their second rainbow baby. I was ecstatic when they contacted me for Kate's 6 month photos! I got to capture the whole family, and BOTH rainbows in this session!! They are such a joy!

Baby Rowan, a TRUE miracle!!:: Columbus, Ohio Newborn Photographer

I mentioned on my Facebook post about this little man's Grandma, Kambra. She is one of the strongest, most amazing women I know. She started an AMAZING organization called Back in His Arms Again, which assists families who are going through the devastating loss of a child. After losing her own two beautiful babies, she wanted to make sure no one else had to endure the traumatic experiences she suffered through. I have become close to her over the past few years after the loss of my own daughter.

When Kambra found out her daughter was expecting, she contacted me immediately because she wanted to be on my calendar for newborn photos. Half way through the pregnancy, her daughter was in a BAD car accident, and almost lost baby Rown. She was on bed rest, went through MAJOR surgery with only local anesthetic in order to keep her son safe. It was SCARY! I was just praying I wouldn't get the call that he didn't make it, and I needed to take photos of a different kind....

Well, here is the little miracle!!! He made it thanks to his STRONG mom, who no doubt got her strength from Kambra:-)

This is the season for incoming High School Seniors to get their Professional photos done!! Make sure to book your session As soon as possible, because they fill up FAST, and the longer you wait, the less chance of having the "best time of year" (summer and fall) available for your beautiful photos!

This is Siara! She is one of my 2014 seniors, and JUST graduated!! (Congrats Siara). We had such an amazing time! She wanted a few photos with her best friend, and even a few with her sister (which will be shown when I post her sister's Ambassador photos).
